Her site-specific architectural structures are created with manipulated construction materials such as steel beams, pipes and concrete and are informed by the conceptual thinking of the 1960s and 1970s, as well as the modernist architecture of Eastern Europe.\u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp\u003eIn 2003, her work was exhibited in the Arsenale section of the 50th Venice Biennale, and in 2007, she represented Poland at the 52nd International Venice Biennale. She was awarded the Bâloise Prize at Art Basel, and the Polityka’s Passport award. She has also received the Ernst Schering Foundation academic scholarship and was nominated for the Hugo Boss Prize in 2012.
