The Zervos

The Zervos

A Modern Masterpiece is Reborn

In 1932, Cahiers d’Art published the first volume of the Picasso Catalogue Raisonné, a monumental project conceived by Christian Zervos in collaboration with Picasso himself.

This vast undertaking became Zervos’s life’s work and remains one of the most influential pieces of scholarship on the twentieth century’s most renowned artist.

Now, at long last, this historic 33-volume set is available once more. The original catalogue, revised with corrections from the Picasso Administration, is offered in both French and English editions.

The Zervos is an extensive catalogue of Picasso’s paintings and drawings, comprising over 16,000 images across thirty-three volumes. Prepared by Cahiers d’Art founder Christian Zervos in direct collaboration with Picasso, the series was published between 1932 and 1978.
